Marisa Zito, PA-C is Board certified with NCCPA and earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in both Dietetics and Psychology from Central Michigan University. Marisa worked as a registered dietitian with Henry Ford Hospital Detroit since 2007 working as a clinical dietitian with oncology/hematology patients. Marisa’s passion lies in caring for others and providing tailored treatment while recognizing individual patient needs. She draws from her love of medicine and staying current, but also her own life experience with pain, to be an empathetic provider. Marisa has a natural desire to help patients and truly values a multifaceted approach to treatment to improve patient's quality of life overall.

In her free time, Marisa enjoys spending time with her fiancé and family which includes her niece and nephews. She loves all different types of music and being near the water. She is an avid animal lover and has three cats, Peapod, Moogle, and Bug.
